Roles & Responsibilities:
- Primarily:
- Increase sales & brand recognition of Terry' and Bistro Madrid across all relevant channels, targeting the different facets of the business: Retail, Institutional / B2B, and Bistro, and other developing units such as Catering though relevant and appropriate Marketing Campaigns & Activities
- Educate clients & partners on Terry's heritage and the unique stories of each of the brands that it carries
- Initiatives to better Marketing, Sales, & other Departments, or the Company as a whole, such as but not limited to: proposing projects in response to feedback or observed needs, process-related improvements, design and execution improvements, etc.
- This also includes any marketing-related support to Management as needed
- Creative direction for Marketing Applications: develop and oversee projects, vision & formation of concepts, pilot design philosophy, fulfilment of goals and objectives, team management and creative vision
- Optimising the Marketing Team & its processes, such as but not limited to:
- Process & Procedure optimisation
- Introducing new technology, platforms, and other resources
- Training & Succession planning for the Marketing Team
- Regarding activities / projects:
- Ensure that the project is primarily founded on:
- Accurate inventory
- Sales goals for the specific business unit the project is for
- Improvements and learnings from previous projects / activities
- Ensure that the project is on-track, reporting to Management, Marketing Team, and related partners on the status of the project
- Ensure that the project is executed fully and to satisfactory, measurable results that meet or exceed set targets
- Gathering all necessary resources for the project to succeed (pre-work & production), including but not limited to:
- Coordination & cooperation of all related teams regarding specific roles, responsibilities, deliverables, timelines, etc.
- Updated & accurate deliverables required for projects to proceed (e.g. pricing, inventory status, product information, specifications, etc.)
- Ensuring key personnel and quality for photo & video documentation of the project as it happens (e.g. events, dine-in clients, etc.)
- Assessing and reporting to the Management Committee the performance of projects (post-production) in relation to objectives, targets, feedback, etc.,
- Internal Marketing team evaluation, KPIs, debriefing notes, SWOT analyses, and points of improvement
- Client feedback across all formats (see above)
- Branch targets + KPIs, feedback, & SWOT analyses
- Investments and monetary targets (ROAS, and the like)
- Data & analyses from external partners
- Market profiles, trends, other relevant developments including competitors & their activities
- Scope includes:
- Marketing Calendar & Budgets
- Updating Marketing Calendar and related calendars / task lists on a weekly basis, extending to daily basis if necessary to reflect immediate changes
- Proposing budgets and adjusting as needed

- Digital Marketing (SEO/SEM, etc.)

- Co-branding Activities with Partners & Clients
- External Partnerships & Collaborations
- Outsourced capacities and projects (e.g. social media, website, photography and video, etc.)
- Outsourced production and related services (e.g. printers, packaging suppliers, etc.)
- Marketing requirements of digital apps (e.g. FoodPanda, PandaMart, TicketTailor, etc.) such as updated listings and photos, brand assets, and advertising, and other updates in response to any new activities that affect these apps
- External marketing requests / inquiries / projects (e.g. correspondence for proposals & partnership requests, mall-related activities in relation to Branches, etc.)
- Co-branding activities with Partners & Clients
- Regarding Marketing itself:
- Marketing Calendar & Budgets
- Overseeing Marketing Calendar lists on a weekly basis, extending to daily basis if necessary to reflect immediate changes
- Proposing and adjusting budgets as needed
- Marketing Meetings & Planning
- Chairing meetings with clear agenda and resolution next-steps, with timelines and assigned deliverables
- Planning accurately in response to:
- Inventory and movement of items
- Sales targets per business unit
- Client feedback
- Marketing Team
- Creative Direction (see above)
- Streamlining & Detailing team scope & responsibilities, KPIs, & Deliverables
- Streamlining & Optimising protocols and required communications per project
- Training of different required aspects for Marketing: from photography, design principles, technical skills/techniques, to Wine & Product knowledge, etc.
- Ensuring that different Marketing Channels are performing and responsive to the Company's needs
- Ensuring that different support tools such as Product Databases, pricelists, order forms, etc. are up-to-date and fully functional
- Applications, Content, & Advertising
- Applications: Type guides, templates, as needed
- Digital Marketing: Google Analytics, SEO & SEM, Social Media such as Facebook & Instagram, Email marketing, use of Messaging Platforms
- Website & Landing Pages: UX, site speed, bounce rates, click maps based on data, etc.
- Content itself
- Sourcing accurate, relevant, and updated information for use in materials
- Information architecture structured for optimum UX
- Copywriting and copyediting of relevant materials, on-brand keyword-optimised
- Proofreading of materials before production / distribution
- Across applications including: Print & Digital collaterals, Print & Digital Advertising in tandem with Social Media Team, Training resources, Client Correspondence, etc.
