Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site service and repairs for printers, copiers, and multifunction devices (laserjet and inkjet).
  • Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Install and set up new machines at client locations.
  • Provide product demonstrations and basic user training to clients.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related printer/copier issues.
  • Respond promptly to service calls and inquiries from clients.
  • Maintain service logs, repair records, and parts inventory.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to explain technical issues and recommended solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards during service and repair work.
  • Assist in answering client questions and concerns regarding printer/copier use and maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a printer/copier technician or similar role.
  • Knowledge of laserjet and inkjet printer/copier repair and maintenance.
  • Basic networking knowledge for printer setup and configuration.
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physically capable of lifting and transporting machines when needed.
  • High school diploma or vocational training in electronics, IT, or related field preferred.
