Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting internal audits on financial records, inventory, and operational processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Review and verify sales transactions, purchases, and expense reports for consistency with company policies.
  • Monitor and check inventory movement (store, warehouse, and distribution) to detect variances, shrinkage, or discrepancies.
  • Support in evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls within retail operations and recommend improvements.
  • Prepare audit working papers, schedules, and reports for review by the Audit Officer/Manager.
  • Coordinate with different departments (finance, merchandising, operations, warehouse) to gather necessary audit evidence.
  • Help track and follow up on corrective actions for audit findings.
  • Maintain proper documentation and confidentiality of audit results and company data.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Internal Auditing, Finance, or related field.
  • Preferably with experience in audit, accounting, or retail operations (internship or entry-level acceptable).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge in accounting systems is an advantage.
  • Willing to travel to stores, warehouses, or branches for audit assignments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php19,000.00 per month
