Audit Assistant

The Audit Assistant is responsible for conducting selected pre- and planned post audit of transactions and operations of both the hospital and college in order to ensure compliance with internal control policies and procedures and to report any misuse of assets, fraud committed, and recommend improvements in operating policies and procedures.
Assists the Internal Auditor in preparing and executing the annual audit plan including preparation of audit working papers, audit findings, and recommendations.
Pre-audits the following transactions to ensure compliance with policies:
2.1. Petty cash replenishment;
2.2. COD Vouchers;
2.3. Payment of janitorial, security, and laundry services;
2.4. Payment of third party's share of ultra sound's income;
2.5. Sale of waste and scrap materials.
- Conducts audit program for cash to ensure that cash collected is intact and properly recorded:
3.1. Cash count of PCF and collections of the College and the Hospital
Conducts physical count of drugs and supplies inventory to ensure that losses are minimized and to correct any weaknesses in the system.
Assists the Internal Auditor in performing special reviews requested by management.
Performs other related functions assigned by superior.
Educational Qualification
· College Degree preferably in Business Administration, major in Accounting
