Description

The News Events and Partnerships Specialist supports the development and execution of strategic partnerships and events that contribute to the visibility and performance of the Integrated News Division. The role involves coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, assisting in branded activations, and helping implement revenue-generating initiatives across platforms.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and managing business and media partnerships that enhance the value and reach of the Integrated News platforms with target markets.
  • Coordinate exchange deals and other forms of collaboration, including revenue-generating arrangements with external partners.
  • Participate in the conceptualization and execution of events across all platforms within the Division, ensuring each event meets its objectives and contributes to overall brand strategy.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with external organizations to identify opportunities for strategic partnerships and business development.
  • Promote the Division's product offerings to potential partners and help implement branded executions that support both Division and Corporate-wide goals.
  • Coordinate with the Legal Department for the preparation and review of contracts and agreements related to partnerships and sponsorships.
  • Prepare compelling presentation decks and proposals to support partnership pitches, event concepts, and branded executions.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year relevant experience in events management, partnerships, media, marketing, or business development
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Familiarity with media platforms and branded content is a plus
  • Awareness of and interest in current news programs, platforms, and the overall media landscape; familiarity with the Division's content offerings is a strong advantage
  • Proficiency in creating clear, visually engaging, and persuasive presentation decks
  • A proactive mindset with keen attention to detail and follow-through.
