Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable NDIS Bookkeeper with proven experience using Xbert
and a strong background in Social Media Management (SMM). The ideal candidate will not only ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting for NDIS operations but also contribute to enhancing our digital presence and community engagement through strategic social media initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
NDIS Bookkeeping & Compliance (Xbert Focus):- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, reconciliations, and BAS preparation.
- Use Xbert to streamline workflows, automate tasks, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Oversee NDIS-specific financial processes, including:
- Managing NDIS client billing, service agreements, and claims via the NDIS portal.
- Tracking participant budgets, funding allocations, and expenditure.
- Preparing detailed financial reports for NDIS compliance and audits.
- Monitor cash flow and provide accurate forecasting.
- Ensure all transactions comply with NDIS guidelines and business policies.
- Develop, plan, and implement social media strategies to promote NDIS services and brand awareness.
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.).
- Monitor audience engagement, respond to inquiries/messages, and build an online community presence.
- Track social media analytics, prepare performance reports, and optimize campaigns for growth.
- Stay updated on NDIS-related trends, news, and community engagement strategies to create relevant content.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, ideally with NDIS sector exposure.
- Hands-on experience using Xbert
for bookkeeping, automation, and compliance monitoring. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles, NDIS invoicing, and funding structures.
- Experience with accounting platforms (Xbert, Xero, QuickBooks, or MYOB).
- Demonstrated ability in Social Media Management, including content creation, strategy, and analytics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience with Canva, Photoshop, or other design tools for social media content creation.
- Knowledge of paid advertising campaigns (Facebook Ads, Google Ads).
- Familiarity with NDIS compliance software and reporting standards.
- Experience working remotely or in a hybrid environment.
