Overview:

We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to take ownership of the end-to-end software delivery process, from build and deployment to automation and release management. This role focuses on application operations rather than infrastructure — ensuring that mobile, web, and backend systems built with React Native, Angular, and Python run efficiently through well-designed CI/CD pipelines, automation, and operational monitoring.

As a senior resource, you'll also mentor junior engineers, enhance deployment architecture, and drive DevOps best practices across the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for all application environments.
  • Automate build, test, and deployment workflows using Ansible, Python, and other DevOps tools.
  • Oversee operational stability and performance for React Native, Angular, and Python 3-based applications.
  • Manage version control strategies, branching models, and release processes across development teams.
  • Collaborate closely with developers and QA to ensure smooth, reliable, and traceable deployments.
  • Conduct code and pipeline reviews, ensuring compliance with DevOps and security best practices.
  • Design and maintain monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes for application releases.
  • Maintain and continuously improve build scripts, deployment configurations, and environment setup documentation.
  • Mentor junior DevOps and software engineers in CI/CD, automation, and release management.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, scalability, and deployment reliability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 4–6 years of experience in DevOps, application delivery, or software operations, with proven CI/CD management experience.
  • Expertise in Azure DevOps Pipelines and automation scripting (Python, YAML, Ansible).
  • Strong knowledge of Python 3 development, Microsoft SQL Server, and integration workflows.
  • Familiarity with React Native and Angular 17+ applications from a build/release standpoint.
  • In-depth understanding of software delivery lifecycle, agile development, and Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple releases and environments efficiently under tight timelines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) concepts.
  • Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, etc.).
  • Certifications in Azure DevOps or cloud technologies are a plus.
  • Strong mentoring and cross-team collaboration experience.
