  • Machine Operation: Start, monitor, and stop cutting machines by pressing buttons, pulling levers, or using pedals.
  • Material Handling: Feed stock into machines, guide it, and remove finished or scrap materials from the machinery.
  • Setup & Adjustments: Set up machinery, install blades or dies, and make necessary adjustments to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Quality Control: Inspect cut pieces for defects, such as improper cuts or flaws, and sort them according to specifications.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, lubrication, and minor repairs on cutting equipment.
  • Documentation: Record production data, including types, quantities, and dimensions of materials cut.
  • Safety: Adhere to safety rules, guidelines, and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
