Duties & Responsibilities

1. Accounts Payable

  • Process, verify, and reconcile invoices to ensure timely and accurate payments

  • Prepare and issue checks for disbursements

  • Compute and prepare Creditable Withholding Taxes (CWT) for suppliers

2. Accounts Receivable

  • Reconcile bank transactions across multiple payment methods:

    • Credit Cards

    • Cheques

    • GCash

    • Bank Transfers

    • PayMaya

  • Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on collections

3. Expense Management

  • Encode all expense-related invoices, including petty cash, President's, and CEO's receipts

  • Maintain updated and accurate records using Zoho Books and internal bookkeeping practices

4. Payroll & Employee Benefits

  • Prepare, compute, and process payroll on schedule

  • Manage and remit payments for statutory benefits and loans (SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth, etc.)

  • Maintain and update the Employee Master List

5. Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare and submit periodic reports:

    • Daily and Monthly Sales Reports (in coordination with Store Managers)

    • Monthly Purchases & Expenses Reports

    • Monthly Statutory Contributions & Loan Reports

    • Monthly Lease Reports for warehouse and branch locations

6. Contractor Billing & Petty Cash Management

  • Prepare weekly billings for external contractors (e.g., carpentry, upholstery)

  • Manage and monitor petty cash disbursements for operational expenses

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a similar role

  • Strong knowledge of accounting practices, payroll procedures, and government compliance

  • Proficient in Zoho Books, Microsoft Excel, and financial software tools

  • High attention to detail with excellent organization and analytical skills

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and handle pressure
