WHAT IS A/AN ACCOUNTS PAYABLE OFFICER?

As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will play a key role in managing outgoing payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and working closely with vendors and internal stakeholders. Your efforts will directly contribute to the smooth operation of our financial systems and the integrity of our company's cash flow.

WHAT WILL BE YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES?

  • Accurately process and verify invoices, ensuring they align with company policies

  • Monitor, record, and report on outgoing expenses using accounting software

  • Act as the key point of contact for vendor queries and payment-related issues

  • Schedule and process payments in a timely and accurate manner

  • Ensure proper filing and documentation for audit and compliance purposes

  • Reconcile vendor statements and ensure proper allocation of credits

  • Assist with audit preparation and supply required documentation

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • 3-5 plus years proven experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role

  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy

  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with vendors and internal teams

  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently

  • Familiarity with GST and financial compliance standards

  • Proficiency in accounting systems such as Workday, NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP
