JOB SUMMARY

In charge of design, development, enhancement and variation, ensures that these products are aligned with customer needs, reviewed and analyzed in both technical terms and business aspects, launches successfully in the quickest time to maximize competitive advantage, grow the company and improve business bottom line.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversees all aspects of the process to develop new products and its launch to market, including but not limited to the following:
  • Conducts market researches and studies existing studies and market literature and trends to come up with new product ideas and concepts
  • Leads the conceptualization and development of new products, expansion and enhancement of existing products
  • Defines the product vision and strategy, including their relationship with the existing products and brands. Work with the rest of the marketing team on brand architecture
  • Works closely with plant and marketing personnel to understand customer needs and marry with plant and technical capabilities, as well as meet market expectations
  • Creates and implement an effective product development process to ensure timely product launches (from product development, packaging design, launch to market, etc.)
  • Organizes and leads product testing phases and adjusts strategies based on feedback
  • Works with identified personnel to complete LTO variation (if needed), CPR (certificate of product registration), halal certification, and secure barcode and IPO.
  • Evaluates the success of product launches and implement improvements if needed
  • Prepares and manages budget for product development launch
  • Prepares marketing plan for the new product and executes it.
  • Ensures that he/she is on top of industry and product trends
  • Performs any other office task that management requires assistance from time-to-time
