KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Billing and Invoicing:

Prepare and issue accurate invoices for products or services provided to clients/customers

Ensure all invoicing complies with company standards and contractual agreements

Monitor billing schedules and ensure all invoices are sent out on time

Accounts Receivable and Collections:

Track outstanding payments and follow up on overdue accounts

Contact clients/customers via phone, email, or written communication to resolve any payment issues

Maintain and update customer account records, including payment terms, balances, and credit limits

Negotiate payment plans with customers when necessary to ensure timely payment

Payment Posting and Reconciliation:

Record incoming payments and apply them to appropriate accounts

Reconcile discrepancies between billing, payments, and customer accounts

Assist in clearing up aged receivables by identifying and addressing payment issues

Reporting and Documentation:

Generate regular reports on billing, collections, and outstanding balances for management

Prepare monthly statements for customers and assist in the month-end closing process

Maintain accurate and organized records of customer communications, invoices, and payments
