Island Central Mactan, is a (6) level mixed-use development by GEEGE CENTRAL MALL, INC. It has both commercial retail and BPO office component located along Mactan Economic Zone, M.L. Quezon National Highway, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu.

The Complex has the right tenant mix which includes a supermarket, a department store, restaurants, service shops, concept stores, a travel lounge, resto bars and an event area to cater the growing demand of locals and tourists alike.

ACCOUNTING MANAGER

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Preferably with experience in retail, commercial property, or mall operations but not required
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial regulations.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervises Accounting Team – Directly manages a team of 10 accounting staff, assigns tasks, monitors performance and supports training and development.
  • Oversees Financial Reporting & Analysis – Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; analyzes variances; and provides financial insights to support mall operations.
  • Leads Budgeting & Forecasting – Manages the annual budget process and updates forecasts to align with financial goals.
  • Manages Accounts Operations – Oversees accounts payable and receivable, ensures timely billing and collection, and monitors aging reports.
  • Ensures Tax & Audit Compliance – Prepares tax returns, ensures compliance with local tax laws, and coordinates internal and external audits.
  • Implements Internal Controls – Develops and monitors internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
  • Handles Cash Flow & Treasury – Manages daily cash flow, approves disbursements and supervises banking transactions.
