Project Engineer

Responsible for successful project deliveries in accordance to customer needs, expected schedule and level of quality.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Determines project objectives and specifications that will satisfy customer requirements

  2. Develops project plans and schedules

  3. Ensures project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality desired by the customer

  4. Responsible for inter-discipline coordination and resolving problems

  5. Responsible for ensuring situational awareness among stakeholders, particularly in budget and resource allocation, procurement schedules, conflicts, risks and mitigation plans, and project progress and delivery

  6. Responsible for bill of materials creation and maintenance

  7. Responsible for the preparation and review of engineering deliverables such as method statements, materials submittals, drawing submittals, quality and safety checks

  8. Perform overall quality control of work

  9. Maintains project data base containing plans and schedules, budget and resource allocation, communications, identified risks and mitigation plans, to ensure accountability, reviewability, and in aid of learning.

Qualifications:

  1. Must be a graduate of at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Sanitary/Mechanical/Civil)

  2. Preferably with at least one (1) year experience in construction project management

  3. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

  4. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills

  5. Must be able to read and understand construction drawings and specifications

  6. Must have time management and organizational skills

  7. Must be proficient in use of standard applications and quick to learn various desktop or web applications

  8. Must be conscientious about commitments and responsibilities
