Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any related field.
  • Proven experience in project management, facilities management, or technical supervision, preferably in a commercial real estate or retail environment.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems (e.g., HVAC, electrical, fire protection, plumbing).
  • Familiarity with local building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Tenant Fit-Out Management:

  • Review and approve tenant architectural and engineering plans to ensure they comply with mall design criteria, local building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct pre-occupancy inspections to verify that all technical installations (e.g., electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire suppression) meet approved plans and are ready for operation.
  • Provide technical guidance to tenants during the design and construction phases.

Technical Liaison & Coordination:

  • Serve as the main technical liaison between the mall management, tenants, contractors, and government agencies.
  • Coordinate with the mall's operations and maintenance teams to ensure seamless integration of tenant systems with the building's infrastructure.
  • Manage and schedule the provision of technical services (e.g., electricity, water) to tenant spaces.

Infrastructure Management & Maintenance:

  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of technical systems within leased spaces.
  • Conduct regular inspections of tenant areas to ensure ongoing compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Respond to and resolve technical issues reported by tenants, such as power outages or HVAC problems.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed records of all tenant fit-out plans, technical specifications, and inspection reports.
  • Prepare and present technical reports on project progress and system performance to management.

Compliance & Safety:

  • Ensure all tenant activities and installations adhere to safety protocols, fire codes, and environmental regulations.
