Your Role

As an AU Advisor - Pre-Employment Medical (PEM) Review, you are responsible for:

  • Review and process pre-employment medical forms.
  • Assess submissions against medical and procedural criteria.
  • Issue Fit for Work slips for compliant candidates.
  • Escalate cases with concerns or non-compliance to the Medical Team.
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments and outcomes.
  • Deliver timely results to meet operational deadlines, including peak periods (e.g., shutdown preparation).
  • Collaborate with the Medical Team to resolve queries.
  • Handle confidential medical data in line with privacy regulations and organizational policies.

Qualifications

  • Valid clinical license (e.g., Registered Nurse or equivalent).
  • Experience in a medical or clinical setting.
  • Strong knowledge of medical documentation and terminology.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy under pressure.
  • Strong organizational and workload management skills.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environments.
  • Proficient in MS Office and record-keeping software.
  • Background in medical administration or occupational health (desirable).
