QA Engineer

We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer who is strong in manual testing and passionate about delivering high-quality software. You will play a key role in validating our web and mobile applications, including AI-powered features, while contributing to light automation testing as part of continuous improvement.

**Key Responsibilities

Manual Testing (Primary Responsibility)**

  • Execute manual functional, regression, smoke, and UAT testing for web and mobile applications
  • Create, review, and maintain clear and comprehensive test cases based on requirements and user stories
  • Identify, document, and track defects clearly; work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution
  • Verify fixes and ensure quality standards are met before release

AI & Intelligent Feature Testing (Exposure Level)

  • Perform manual testing for AI-driven features (e.g. OCR, chatbot responses, recommendations, predictions)
  • Validate AI outputs for accuracy, consistency, usability, and edge cases
  • Help define test scenarios for AI behaviour, including negative and boundary cases
  • Report AI-related issues clearly, such as unexpected results or inconsistent outputs

Automation Testing (Secondary Responsibility)

  • Maintain or enhance basic automation scripts for repetitive or critical test flows
  • Support execution of simple automated tests within CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborate with the team to identify manual test cases suitable for automation

Quality & Process Improvement

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date testing documentation
  • Suggest and drive improvements to testing processes, coverage, and efficiency
  • Take ownership of assigned features or modules from testing to release readiness

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of experience in software quality assurance, with strong focus on manual testing
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, QA processes, and testing methodologies
  • Hands-on experience testing web and/or mobile applications
  • Ability to write clear, structured, and comprehensive test cases
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills

Nice to Have

  • Basic experience with automation testing tools (e.g. Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, etc.)
  • Basic scripting knowledge (Python, JavaScript, or similar)
  • Experience with API testing
  • Exposure to AI-enabled or data-driven applications
  • Experience with performance testing or financial/payment systems
