As a SOFTWARE TEST AUTOMATION ENGINEER, you will be a key player in our software development lifecycle, playing a pivotal role in ensuring our software meet the highest standards of performance.

THE ROLE

• We are looking for IT professionals with strong programming (Java, C#) skills, eager to advance their career in software test automation and quality assurance.
• While Developers build features and systems; you as Test automation engineer write code to create frameworks and scenarios that prove those systems work—under stress, load, and real-world conditions.
• You will be required to constantly use critical thinking to discover flaws and contradictions and leverage different tools and concrete testing techniques to achieve a well-implemented software test automation task

MAIN TASKS

• Review software requirements specifications and design documents in developing detailed test cases
• Automate repetitive manual tests using automation tools.
• Write new and adapt existing test cases to different scenarios
• Perform system testing to verify if the systems work as expected or not, taking into consideration full integration of all components and modules.
• Identify, analyze and create detailed bug reports

KNOW-HOW AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience as a software tester and/or QA
• Knowledge in test automation tools and framework e.g. Selenium, Gherkin
• A solid programming knowledge/experience (Java, C#)
• We also encourage IT professionals with strong programming skills who are interested in transitioning into software test automation to apply—even if they have limited or no prior testing experience.

NICE TO HAVE

• ISTQB or equivalent QA certifications.

SPECIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written)
• Detail oriented and has the ability and enthusiasm to efficiently learn complex systems with minimal supervision
• Willingness to be based in Iloilo
