SMSF Accountant

Location: Cebu

Work Arrangement: Onsite, Fulltime

Shift: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM | Monday - Friday

About this role. . .

We are seeking an SMSF Accountant to support our clients with self-managed superannuation fund accounting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare annual financial statements, tax returns, and compliance documentation for SMSFs
  • Process fund transactions including contributions, pensions, and investments
  • Ensure compliance with ATO regulations and superannuation laws
  • Work with senior accountants and managers to finalise SMSF work
  • Assist Australian client managers with queries and reporting

About you . . .

  • 1-2 years of similar experience
  • Must have end-to-end SMSF processing
  • Preparation of BAS (SMSF and business) returns (Probably in the vicinity of 70 plus BAS's a quarter)
  • Preparation of Individual tax returns
  • Preparation of business financial statements and tax returns
  • Strong knowledge of SIS Act, ATO requirements, and SMSF compliance
  • Experience with SMSF administration software (Class Super, BGL, or similar)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
