ABOUT THIS ROLE…

We are looking for a Senior SMSF Accountant with extensive SMSF compliance and accounting experience. This role requires technical SMSF expertise as well as leadership in reviewing and mentoring junior SMSF accountants.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Prepare and review SMSF financial statements, tax returns, and compliance documentation
  • Review and manage complex fund transactions including pensions, contributions, and investment portfolios
  • Liaise with auditors to finalise SMSF compliance reviews
  • Supervise and mentor intermediate SMSF accountants
  • Provide technical support to Australian client managers

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • 5+ years' SMSF accounting experience within an Australian accounting firm
  • In-depth knowledge of SMSF legislation, SIS Act, and ATO requirements
  • Experience with Class Super, BGL, or other SMSF administration software
  • Strong review and supervisory skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
