JOB TITLE: Junior Accountant

REPORTS TO: Senior Accountant

JOB SUMMARY:

Assists the accounting department with daily tasks, including data entry, account reconciliations, and preparing basic financial reports. Supports senior accountants in ensuring accurate and timely financial records.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy.

  2. Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.

  3. At least 1 (one) year of working experience in the related field or position.

  4. Good written and oral communication skills, proficient in MS Excel/Google Sheets and attentive to details.

  5. Experience in Oracle NetSuite accounting system or any accounting software is a plus.

  6. Team player but can work independently with minimal supervision.

  7. Deadline oriented

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Handling and monitoring of various accounts such as but not limited to bank accounts, accounts receivables, prepayments, inventories, accounts payables, and income statement accounts.

  2. Handling in inventory of records and monitor the completeness of documents.

  3. Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.

  4. Assist and support the billing and collection related activities.

  5. Help the Senior Accountants conduct audits and organize semi-annual audits.

  6. Additional duties as directed by the Senior Accountants.
