Key Responsibilities:
  • Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
  • Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct daybook, suppliers ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements.
  • Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and submit financial reports such as income statements and balance sheets.
  • Maintain and organize financial records for audits and inspections.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Monitor office expenses and record all purchases.
  • Stay up to date with financial policies, practices, and regulations.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
  • Degree or certification in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA is a plus).
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
