We're looking for an energetic and creative Social Media Manager to build and grow the online presence of our 5D Virtual Arcade. This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes gaming, entertainment, and technology — and knows how to translate that passion into engaging content that attracts players, drives foot traffic, and builds a loyal community of fans both online and offline.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Brand Development

  • Develop and execute a social media strategy that reflects the arcade's immersive, futuristic brand identity.
  • Plan campaigns around new games, experiences, promotions, events, and holidays.
  • Collaborate with management to align social media goals with ticket sales, memberships, and event bookings.

2. Content Creation & Management

  • Create eye-catching, high-energy content including photos, videos, reels, and stories showcasing gameplay, guest experiences, and behind-the-scenes moments.
  • Manage content calendars for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and X (Twitter).
  • Write engaging captions that speak to gamers, families, and adventure seekers.

3. Community Engagement

  • Interact with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a fun, welcoming online community.
  • Encourage and reshare user-generated content (UGC) from visitors and influencers.
  • Coordinate giveaways, contests, and live streams to boost engagement.

4. Influencer & Partnership Marketing

  • Partner with local influencers, gaming creators, and event organizers to promote the arcade experience.
  • Collaborate on cross-promotions with nearby entertainment venues, schools, or tourism partners.

5. Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor performance metrics such as reach, engagement, and conversions (e.g., online bookings or event RSVPs).
  • Provide regular reports and actionable insights to improve campaigns and audience growth.

6. Trendspotting & Innovation

  • Stay ahead of gaming, VR, and entertainment trends.
  • Experiment with new content formats (e.g., AR filters, POV gameplay videos, or live tournaments).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience managing social media for entertainment, gaming, or tech brands.
  • Passion for gaming, virtual reality, and immersive experiences.
  • Strong photo/video editing and storytelling skills (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Knowledge of paid social advertising and platform analytics.
  • Excellent communication skills and a fun, energetic personality.
