Job Summary:
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing the sales team to achieve business growth and revenue targets. This role involves developing sales strategies, overseeing daily sales operations, building strong client relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Sales Manager works closely with marketing, operations, and other departments to align sales initiatives with overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed business targets.
- Lead, motivate, and coach the sales team to improve performance and achieve goals.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the company's customer base.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews for management.
- Conduct sales presentations, negotiations, and contract closures with key clients.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to design promotions and campaigns.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing guidelines, and ethical standards.
- Drive continuous improvement in sales processes and customer engagement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA is a plus).
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a senior sales role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market insights to drive strategies.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Results-driven, customer-focused, and adaptable to dynamic market conditions.
