QC Specialist

As a QC Specialist, you will ensure that all incoming samples, chemical reagents, and analytical equipment are handled in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP). You will be responsible for conducting accurate laboratory testing, maintaining proper documentation, and supporting compliance with regulatory and quality standards to ensure the integrity of all laboratory results.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform sampling, testing, recording, and reporting of laboratory test results
  • Handle the requisition, storage, preparation, and inventory maintenance of laboratory reagents and supplies
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and apparatus
  • Participate in internal and external audits
  • Create, review, and revise policies, programs, procedures, and manuals
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory bodies such as OSHA, DENR, LLDA, PNP, and others
  • Conduct sampling based on approved sampling plans and procedures
  • Prepare and standardize volumetric solutions following proper protocols
  • Maintain reagents, standard solutions, reference standards, and test solutions
  • Perform analyses on incoming raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products
  • Re-evaluate raw materials and finished goods when necessary
  • Conduct testing for water and wastewater treatment samples
  • Ensure proper operation, handling, calibration, documentation, and maintenance of laboratory equipment
  • Participate in investigations involving product complaints, product recalls, and returned goods
  • Handle recording, collection, labeling, and disposal of laboratory waste according to procedures

Educational Requirements: Applicants must have a degree in

  • BS Chemistry
  • BS Microbiology
  • BS Biochemistry
  • Any related field of study
  • A valid license as a Chemist, Chemical Technician, or related license is required.

Other Competencies:

  • Computer-literate
  • Knowledgeable in ERP System applications
  • Basic understanding of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)

Our Office is located at Lot 1259, Bancal Road, Bancal (4116), Carmona City, Cavite. (Nearest landmark: We are situated at the back of Shell Gasoline Station, Bancal.)
