Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our Human Resources team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are eager to learn and gain hands-on experience in various aspects of HR, including recruitment, employee engagement, payroll, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial assessments.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, including preparing documentation and conducting orientations.
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Participate in employee engagement initiatives, including organizing events, surveys, and recognition programs.
- Provide administrative support for HR functions, such as preparing reports, drafting policies, and managing HR correspondence.
- Assist in payroll processing and benefits administration under supervision.
- Stay up-to-date on HR trends, laws, and best practices to ensure compliance and innovation.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a College/University taking up Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Canva and familiarity with HR software is a plus.
- A proactive and team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn.
- Understanding of confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
