Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our Human Resources team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are eager to learn and gain hands-on experience in various aspects of HR, including recruitment, employee engagement, payroll, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial assessments.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, including preparing documentation and conducting orientations.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Participate in employee engagement initiatives, including organizing events, surveys, and recognition programs.
  • Provide administrative support for HR functions, such as preparing reports, drafting policies, and managing HR correspondence.
  • Assist in payroll processing and benefits administration under supervision.
  • Stay up-to-date on HR trends, laws, and best practices to ensure compliance and innovation.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a College/University taking up Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Canva and familiarity with HR software is a plus.
  • A proactive and team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn.
  • Understanding of confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
