What you'll be doing

  • Represent the company in cases(s) including but not limited to civil, criminal and labor cases.
  • Represent the company in Government agencies including but not limited to SEC, BIR, LGU's, Barangay, Bureau of Immigration and other similar agencies.
  • Manages and keeps copies of corporate records such as articles of incorporation, by-laws, minutes, board resolutions secretary's certificate, business permits and others.
  • Research and prepare legal opinions on various matters including claims against the company and its affiliates.
  • Drafting, review and negotiation of contracts/agreements and company policies.
  • Investigate and collate documents/evidences for filing of necessary actions.
  • Do Position Papers, Complaint Affidavits and other documents for court actions.
  • Represent the company in engagements and activities requiring legal expertise and knowledge.
  • Tracking and monitoring various anticipated and on-going litigation matters.
  • Oversees and coordinates with outside counsel in handling and management of legal cases to protect the company's interest and minimize cost and exposure, if any.
  • Handle all claims filed against the company and any of its affiliates.
  • Provide general legal support to the business operations of the company.
  • Maintain a database of the status of all legal/court matters involving the company.
  • Advice on HR related concerns including matters involving administrative disciplinary concerns.
  • Assist in handling and managing all labor cases involving organic and outsourced personnel.
  • Advice in the formulation, implementation, and amendment of company policies.
  • Monitors legal issues and implications concerned with discrimination, sexual harassment, health and safety, hiring and firing, as well as other aspects of employee rights and responsibilities.
  • Perform other duties and tasks that may be assigned by the immediate superior.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in law and in any related field.
  • 3 to 4 years of progressive experience.
