This role ensures accurate and timely reconciliations across Sage, Real Hub, banking platforms and trust accounts. It provides the foundation for reliable financial reporting by maintaining clean ledgers, resolving discrepancies early, and supporting the broader finance team across daily, weekly, and month-end cycles.

Key Duties

Daily processing and reconciliations

Allocate bank transactions, match entries across Sage, Real Hub and statements, and clear suspense accounts.

Sage & Real Hub reconciliations

Identify mismatches, investigate discrepancies, resolve coding or timing errors, and maintain full audit trails.

Month-end support

Prepare reconciliation schedules, check carry-forward balances, and provide reconciled data for monthly packs.

Controls, documentation & compliance

Follow procedures, maintain workpapers, support trust account compliance, and escalate irregular items.

Team communication

Respond to internal queries, flag recurring issues, and support handovers and training.

Systems & Tools Expected

  • Sage (preferred but training provided)
