  • Responsible for materials planning and procurement of direct materials
  • Reports and updates Planning/Sales of the materials delivery status and commitments.
  • Prepares and supports materials for New Products
  • Settles delivery issues, and discrepancies with Suppliers and Warehouse.
  • Selects vendors from approved vendors list considering all policies and procedures, goals and targets on various metrics.
  • Maintain optimal stock levels to meet customer demands.
  • Can forecast future demand for materials to prevent stockouts, responsible for ensuring accurate data entry related to inventory and purchasing.
  • Analyze data related to inventory and production to identify areas for improvement, responsible for negotiating pricing with suppliers.
  • Work closely with production planners to ensure a smooth flow of materials and products through the manufacturing process.
  • Reviews and develop strategies to reduce excess inventory and excess PO to minimize costs.
  • Ensuring materials meet standard specifications, quality, and are cost-efficient.
  • Collaborate w/ related departments in addressing quality issues, returns, cost charging and supplier performance evaluation
  • Monitors Invoice from shipment to parking, ensuring no discrepancies that may affect arrival and payment
  • Track root causes for on time delivery misses/stock-outs and suggest and implement appropriate corrective actions
  • Executes and monitors all procurement activities for direct materials.
  • Assist in maintaining the monthly KPI
  • Provide reports and requested information as needed
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • With Experience in Manufacturing Plant
  • Preferably with 2 - 3 years experience of the same role
  • Can adopt to a fast-paced work environment
  • Can work under pressure
  • Willing to be based in San Simon Pampanga, Manila
  • Willing to travel from San Simon to Manila office (v.v. as needed)
  • Willing to render overtime (if needed)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Excel, with the ability to analyze data, create reports, and manage spreadsheets.
  • Can start immediately.
