KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Must be a high school graduate with specialize training of one to two years.
2. Extensive knowledge of residential construction and remodeling trades, practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials, specifications, quality control, cost control, safety and applicable building codes.
3. Proficient at blueprint reading.
4. Able to do layout, framing, finishing of typical project, including new rooms, and remodeling works.
5. Ability to draw appropriate sketches to communicate details to employees and others.
6. Must have mathematical and analytical skill necessary to do materials and labor estimates.
7. Able to clearly explain steps, provide clear directions and answer question about construction processes.
8. Able to complete and fulfill paperwork required to purchased order and time sheets.
9. Able to give suggestions and alternative solutions to resolve conflicts.
10. Must be able to climb ladders for heights of up to 60 feet and crawl for distance of 50 feet.
11. Must be able to work with tools, lumber and materials. Able to lift and manipulate objects of up to 80 lbs. for 50 feet.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Operates all types of woodworking equipment to include: Table saw, radical saw, planner, jointer, drill, etc.
2. Performs minor and major carpentry and finishing works.
3. Perform window, door and minor roof repairs.
4. Install all kinds of tiling works.
5. Demolish and/or construct interior building partitions.
6. Responds in all expeditions and timely manner to all work requests regarding carpentry expertise.
7. Will comply and follow safely procedures when performing assigned responsibilities.
8. Reports to work as needed especially in times of emergency or after office hours.
9. Assists in loading and unloading of building materials from delivery trucks.
10. Performs other duties assigned as need arises.
