Branch Manager

The Branch Manager oversees the daily operations, sales, and customer service of the Branch. This role requires strong leadership to manage staff performance, maintain client relationships, and ensure the branch meets financial goals. The manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards in a timely manner while managing a healthy portfolio, driving profitability and growth within the local market.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all of the functions and operations of a branch office ensuring adherence to company procedures and policies.
- Market and acquire new clients and service existing clients to build lasting relationships.
- Prepare and recommend loan proposals to the Credit Committee ensuring all credit and loan documentation requirements are met.
- Supervise and oversee all the employees under the branch, onboarding the team in meeting the branch targets and goals while continuously providing coaching and mentorship.
- Maintain good and credible relationships with agents, dealers and insurance providers.
- Handle collections and recovery efforts for existing accounts.
- Build relationships with service providers and government agencies when applicable.
- Prepare, file, apply and secure all office operations related permits and regulatory requirements.
- Establish control procedures for the safekeeping of all loan, collateral and financial instruments.
- Manage and handle recovery of collaterals and legal cases, when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- Strong Sales and Marketing Skills with proven experience (5+ years) in the financing or banking industry, with at least 2-3 years in a management or supervisory role.
- Must have prior experience in branch/loan portfolio management with strong knowledge of financial products (chattel, and real estate mortgages, etc.) and regulations.
- Able to drive a car/motorcycle. Must have a driver's license.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Must have working knowledge of the accounting cycle. Must be able to write accurate reports for internal and external requirements.
- Ability to analyze financial reports and manage branch profitability.
- Possesses high personal integrity and moral standards and sound judgment in safeguarding the interest of the company.
