What's The Role All About?

The Roving Collector is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate collection of payments from clients across assigned areas. This role plays a vital part in maintaining healthy cash flow and strong client relationships by visiting customers, issuing receipts, and remitting collected funds promptly.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Visiting clients regularly to collect payments in cash, check, or other approved forms.
  • Issuing official receipts and ensuring all transactions are properly documented.
  • Remitting collected funds to the head office or designated branch within the required time frame.
  • Monitoring client accounts, identifying overdue balances, and coordinating follow-ups with the Collections Department.
  • Conducting field verification of client details as needed.
  • Assisting in account reconciliation and maintaining accurate collection reports.
  • Coordinating with branch staff and management to resolve collection-related issues.
  • Upholding confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism in all client interactions.

An effective Roving Collector must possess the following attributes:

  • Customer Orientation: Ability to interact courteously and professionally with clients during collections and account visits.
  • Integrity and Reliability: Strong sense of responsibility in handling company funds and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy in issuing receipts, documenting transactions, and reconciling accounts.
  • Time Management: Capability to plan routes efficiently and complete daily collection targets.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to coordinate effectively with clients and internal departments regarding payments and account concerns.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to travel to different branches or assigned areas as needed.
  • Analytical Thinking: Skill in identifying payment discrepancies and reporting potential issues promptly.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work harmoniously with colleagues and support collection initiatives across multiple locations.

Ideally, a candidate must have a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Financial Management, or any related course, with an experience in collections, fieldwork, or a similar role.

The chosen cabdidate will be employed at The Medical City Pangasinan.
