IT Assistant

Installs and configures computers, computer and network equipment, network (client and server) hardware and software on a variety of platforms (e.g. service packs, application software, operating software, hardware upgrades, etc.) for the purpose of upgrading and maintaining equipment and computer networks that will meet the technology needs of the Office.

· Monitors and maintains the computer systems and networks of an organization.

· Assesses malfunctions of network hardware (e.g. memory, motherboard, power supply, printer, monitor, etc.,) and/or software applications for the purpose of determining appropriate actions to maintain computer and network operations.

· Repairs network-related failures (e.g. computers, peripherals, network equipment, configuration files, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining computer and network equipment in a safe and functional condition.

· Researches software applications and hardware requirements for the purpose of reviewing products to provide recommendations regarding applications and purchases and ensuring availability of materials.

· Supports network operations, computer hardware, and/or software applications (e.g. servers, including file, print, application, database, proxy, etc., and operating systems) for the purpose of ensuring efficient operations of network.

· Prepares written materials (e.g. inventory, daily reports) for the purpose of documenting activities, providing written reference and/or conveying information.

· Monitors telephone and internet connection of all offices of the Company and reports to service providers whenever faults arise.

· Transports a variety of items (e.g. equipment, supplies, etc.) for the purpose of providing materials at job site or transporting equipment for repair.

· Talking to staff through a series of actions either face to face or over the telephone to help set up systems or to resolve issues.

· Replacing parts as required

· Working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate) like with programmers.

· Testing and evaluating new technology

· Conducting electrical safety checks on computer equipment

· Checks and maintains all computers in the head office and all branches and recommends interventions needed to give off quality usage of technology.

· Installs monitors and maintains CCTV and alarm systems, and reports to Management any untoward incidents.

· Performs other related duties, as assigned, relevant to technical issues.

Pay: From Php16,000.00 per month
