About the role

As the Distribution Manager at Bayanilife Inc., you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient and effective distribution of goods across our operations in Tarlac, Central Luzon. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you will be responsible for managing and optimising our warehousing, logistics and transportation activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products to our customers.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing and implementing distribution strategies to meet business objectives and customer requirements
  • Managing the day-to-day operations of our distribution centre, including inventory control, order fulfilment, and transportation scheduling
  • Optimising warehouse layout and workflow to maximise productivity and space utilisation
  • Forecasting demand and planning inventory levels to minimise stockouts and excess inventory
  • Overseeing the selection, management, and performance of third-party logistics providers
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance distribution efficiency and reduce costs
  • Monitoring and analysing distribution metrics to identify and address bottlenecks and inefficiencies
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align distribution activities with broader business objectives

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a distribution or logistics management role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry
  • Strong understanding of warehousing, inventory management, and transportation best practices
  • Proficient in the use of distribution management software and data analysis tools
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
