Purpose of the Role

To provide external audit and financial consulting services on behalf of the firm's clients. This includes conducting independent financial audits, supporting clients with risk and control assessments, and offering practical, audit-based recommendations across various industries. The Senior Auditor will work across multiple engagements, manage client deliverables end-to-end, and contribute to the firm's reputation for precision, professionalism, and audit excellence.

This is a hands-on delivery role suitable for experienced auditors with strong reporting discipline and client-facing capabilities. The role involves no delegation of tasks and is ideal for professionals with a background in high-performance environments.

Must-Have Attributes

• Minimum 4 years' experience in external audit or advisory, preferably with client-facing responsibilities
• CPA and/or CMA certification required
• Background with Big 4 audit firms (PwC, Deloitte, EY, KPMG) is highly regarded
• Experience working with complex clients across different industries, preferably including exposure to technology or startup sectors
• Strong business writing, financial analysis, and client communication skills
• High personal accountability — able to complete audit cycles independently and on time
• Experience in management accounting or risk assurance is a plus

Key Duties

• Audit Planning & Execution Conduct full-cycle audit engagements for multiple clients — from planning and risk assessment to testing, reporting, and follow-up.
• Client Relationship Management Act as the point of contact during audit fieldwork, provide status updates, request supporting documents, and manage expectations on delivery timelines.
• Technical Accounting Reviews Analyse financial statements and assess adherence to accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, local GAAP, AU accounting frameworks as applicable).
• Process & Control Assessment Evaluate clients' internal control environments and recommend improvements that align with best practices.
• Billing & Time Management Manage accurate billing records for audit hours and ensure timely submission of client engagement documentation.
• Reporting & Presentation Prepare formal audit reports, management letters, and dashboards. Present key findings and risk issues to clients and senior managers.
• Professional Standards & Quality Ensure audit work meets firm methodology and quality assurance expectations; maintain audit documentation that is review-ready at all times.

Systems & Tools Expected

• Audit management software and working paper systems (e.g., CaseWare, IDEA, or similar)
• Microsoft 365 Suite (Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook)
• Client financial systems (ERP exposure a plus)
• Secure client document portals / audit file-sharing platforms
• MFA tools and audit trail documentation standards
