Job Summary:

The Senior Accounting Staff is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial records, and assisting in financial reporting and analysis. This position supports management in decision-making through accurate financial data and compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and government regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and analyze financial statements, schedules, and reports.

  2. Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and other financial records.

  3. Review journal entries, vouchers, and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.

  4. Handle month-end and year-end closing activities.

  5. Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with BIR and other government agencies (e.g., SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).

  6. Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.

  7. Coordinate with external auditors during audit periods.

  8. Supervise junior accounting staff and review their work outputs.

  9. Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records.

  10. Support management with financial analysis and recommendations for cost efficiency

  11. Facilitate Books of Accounts registration using BIR ORUS.

  12. Depreciate Assets monthly.

  13. Prepare monthly Bank Reconciliation.

  14. Conduct Monthly Cash Count.

  15. Compile and submit 2307 forms (soft copy) and summary to External Auditor.

  16. Vat Reporting - submit input and output summary

  17. Reconciliation of Non-Cash Transactions (Debit/Credit/E-Payments)
