Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (mandatory)
  • Professional certification preferred (e.g., CPA, CMA, or equivalent)
  • Advanced training or postgraduate studies in accounting or auditing is an advantage

Work Experience

  • Entry-level: At least 1–2 years of experience in bookkeeping, auditing, or accounting roles
  • Mid-to-senior: 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in corporate or industrial sectors (mining experience is a plus)
  • Experience with financial reporting, tax compliance, and internal controls

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, Oracle)
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, financial modeling)
  • Knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and tax laws
  • Understanding of budget preparation, payroll processing, and auditing procedures
