Job Summary: The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance of all facility equipment, with a strong focus on HVAC systems. The role ensures minimal downtime, optimal equipment performance, and full compliance with safety and regulatory standards across the site

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Team Management

· Lead, mentor, and supervise the maintenance team and contractors.

· Foster a collaborative, high-performance work environment.

2. Maintenance Operations

· Oversee all maintenance activities, including HVAC, electrical, mechanical, utilities, and facility systems.

· Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability and longevity.

· Respond promptly to system emergencies and ensure fast resolution to minimize downtime.

3. Collaboration and Compliance

· Work closely with operations and QA to ensure proper equipment handling and usage.

· Ensure maintenance activities support food safety, sanitation, and compliance with standards like DOLE, DENR, and OSHA.

· Assist in investigations during product recalls and implement corrective/preventive actions.

4. Budgeting and Resource Management

· Manage and control the maintenance budget, including HVAC-related costs.

· Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.

5. Documentation and Reporting

· Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.

· Generate reports on equipment performance and maintenance effectiveness.

· Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the maintenance team.

6. Safety, Training, and Audit Readiness

· Ensure all maintenance staff are properly trained and competent.

· Enforce health, safety, and environmental compliance in all maintenance operations.

· Maintain audit readiness through standardized processes, internal audits, and documentation.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address audit findings and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Must be a registered Mechanical or Electrical Engineer.

  • At least 5 years of experience in a maintenance supervisory or managerial role.

  • Proven expertise in HVAC systems, troubleshooting, and controls.

  • Strong knowledge of building systems, utilities, and general maintenance practices.

  • Proficient in CMMS or other maintenance tracking systems.

  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and organizational skills.

  • Willing to be on-call for emergencies and capable of working under pressure.
