A Software Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of software projects, from planning to delivery. Key duties include defining project scope, creating schedules, managing resources, coordinating teams, tracking progress, and ensuring projects meet objectives, timelines, and quality standards. A strong candidate typically has a background in a technical field like computer science, excellent communication, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:


• Discussing potential projects and their parameters with clients, executives, and software developers.


• Planning out the blueprints for software projects, including defining the scope, allocating resources, setting deadlines, laying out communication strategies, and indicating tests and maintenance.


• Assembling and leading the project team.


• Participating in and supervising each stage of the project.


• Ensuring each project stays on schedule and adheres to the deadlines.


• Creating a project budget and ensuring the project adheres to the budget as closely as possible.


• Determining and overseeing consistent testing, evaluation, and troubleshooting of all products in all stages of completion.


• Tracking milestones, deliverables, and change requests.


• Serving as a liaison to communicate information regarding changes, milestones reached, and other pertinent information.


• Delivering completed software products to clients and performing regular checks on the products' performance.


• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in information technology, software development management, software engineering, computer science, or a related field.

Proven experience in project management and software development.

Experience: A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in software project management is typically necessary, with a proven track record of delivering projects.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

  • Technical knowledge of IT, development, and computer systems.

  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Familiarity with project management methodologies like Agile or Scrum is beneficial.

  • Ability to manage time, budget, and resources effectively

  • Office Location: Panabo City, Davao Del Norte

  • Preferred Applicants: Residents of Panabo City, Davao City, or within the Davao Region.

  • Position: Full-time

  • Work Schedule: 3 PM – 12 MN

  • Weekends Off: Fixed
