Job Description:

The Software Developer will become part of a team of software professionals responsible for the development and maintenance of Lane Systems software projects. The individual must be forward-thinking and share in a common vision of quality, integrity and efficiency.

The duties will primarily revolve around building software, testing software, and supporting the developed software for defects and improvements.

Software development on, but not limited to, web front ends to business solutions, building business objects, windows service projects, and automated testing projects.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Take part in design, development, and testing of software projects.
  • Follows the software development life cycle and project management policies of the company
  • Develop software according to functional and technical design specifications and maintain a "common sense" approach that serves to recognize potential design gaps and provide insight into closing them.
  • Participate in software development activities including monitoring, evaluation, and improvement of software performance.
  • Supporting developed software applications for defects and issues and to help in assessment, planning, and implementation of improvements in the software.
  • Preparing reports regarding the project, activities, and status.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Software application architecture and design.
  • Proficient in ASP.NET and Microsoft SQL Server
  • Must have strong communication and organizational skills
  • Must have the ability to work in teams as well as independently
  • Must have the drive for continuous learning.
  • Must be willing to work On-Site
