1. Leadership & Team Support
- Assist the Center Director in managing day-to-day operations and ensuring all classes and programs run efficiently.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to educators and admin staff.
- Model Playscape's values of intentional teaching, respect, and teamwork.
- Step in as acting Director when needed, maintaining consistency across all functions.
2. Quality Assurance and Compliance
- Monitor classroom environments and teacher performance to maintain Playscape's high-quality standards.
- Oversee documentation, safety, and operational checklists to ensure consistency and accountability.
- Conduct regular reviews of routines, systems, and processes to support smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing standards.
3. Family & Community Relations
- Build strong relationships with families through effective communication and presence.
- Address parent inquiries and feedback with professionalism and empathy.
- Represent Playscape in events, orientations, and community engagements.
4. Operations & Administration
- Coordinate daily schedules, staffing, and resource management.
- Support HR and admissions processes, including staff onboarding and parent tours.
- Ensure campus compliance with health, safety, and licensing standards.
5. Professional Development
- Participate in leadership meetings, training, and reflective practice sessions.
- Support team growth through mentoring, performance tracking, and ongoing alignment with Playscape's philosophy.
