Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) on desktops, laptops, and servers.
  • Assemble and disassemble computer hardware components including desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Install and configure Local Area Network (LAN) connections and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
  • Set up and maintain printers, scanners, and other IT peripherals.
  • Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on computer systems and network devices.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Assist with the deployment of new hardware and software as per organizational requirements.
  • Ensure proper documentation of IT assets, configurations, and incident reports.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed.
  • Follow company IT policies and best practices to ensure security and compliance.
  • Perform other IT-related tasks and projects as assigned by the IT Manager or Supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an IT Technical or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems installation and troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in hardware assembly, disassembly, and repair.
  • Familiarity with LAN/WAN networking, IP configuration, and network troubleshooting.
  • Experience setting up and managing printers and other peripheral devices.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and IT best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
