Job Description: Paid Ads Specialist
We are looking for an experienced Paid Ads Specialist to lead and execute
paid media campaigns across multiple digital platforms for a diverse
portfolio of clients. This role sits within a marketing agency environment
and is ideal for someone who can confidently manage paid advertising
from strategy through to execution, optimisation, and reporting.
You will be responsible for planning, launching, managing, and scaling
paid campaigns that drive measurable results across lead generation,
brand awareness, and traffic objectives. This role requires strong hands-on
experience, strategic thinking, and the ability to adapt campaigns across
different industries, budgets, and business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Paid Media Strategy & Planning
• Develop paid advertising strategies aligned with each client's
objectives, funnel stage, and budget
• Select the most appropriate platforms and campaign structures
based on audience, industry, and goals
• Translate business objectives into clear paid media plans with
defined KPIs and success metrics
• Provide strategic recommendations on budget allocation, scaling
opportunities, and channel mix
Campaign Setup & Execution
• Build, launch, and manage campaigns across:
o Google Ads (Search, Display, Performance Max, YouTube)
o Meta Ads Manager (Facebook and Instagram)
o LinkedIn Campaign Manager (Sponsored Content, Lead Gen
Forms, retargeting)
o TikTok Ads Manager
• Set up conversion tracking, pixels, events, and integrations to ensure
accurate data collection
• Create and manage audiences including custom, lookalike,
retargeting, and cold prospecting segments
• Collaborate with creative and copy teams to ensure ads are aligned
with strategy and best practice

Optimisation & Performance Management
• Monitor and optimise campaigns regularly to improve performance
against KPIs such as CPC, CPA, CPL, ROAS, CTR, and conversion rate
• Conduct ongoing A/B testing across creatives, copy, audiences,
bidding strategies, and landing pages
• Identify performance trends and insights to inform optimisation
decisions
• Proactively troubleshoot underperforming campaigns and
implement improvements
Reporting & Insights
• Produce clear, accurate, and actionable performance reports for
clients and internal teams
• Translate data into insights, explaining what is working, what is not,
and what to do next
• Track performance against agreed benchmarks and campaign
goals
• Present results and recommendations in a way that is easy for nontechnical stakeholders to understand
Client & Team Collaboration
• Work closely with account managers, strategists, designers, and
copywriters to deliver cohesive campaigns
• Support client conversations with paid media insights, performance
updates, and strategic recommendations
• Manage multiple clients simultaneously while maintaining quality,
accuracy, and attention to detail
• Stay aligned with broader marketing strategies including SEO, email,
CRO, and organic social where relevant
Continuous Improvement & Industry Knowledge
• Stay up to date with platform changes, new features, and paid
media best practices
• Apply learnings across client accounts to continuously improve
results
• Contribute to internal process improvements, templates, and
documentation

Required Experience & Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience managing paid
advertising campaigns
• Proven experience running campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads
Manager, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager
• TikTok Ads experience is a bonus (nice to have, not essential)
• Strong understanding of paid media strategy, funnel design, and
performance metrics
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple accounts or clients
simultaneously
• Comfortable working with varied industries, audiences, and budgets

• Google Ads
• Meta Ads Manager (Facebook and Instagram)
• LinkedIn Campaign Manager
• TikTok Ads Manager
• Google Analytics 4
• Google Tag Manager
• Looker Studio or similar reporting tools
• CRM and marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot,
ActiveCampaign, or similar
• Keyword research and competitor analysis tools such as SEMrush,
Ahrefs, or similar
• Conversion tracking, pixels, and event setup across platforms
Skills & Attributes
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make
informed decisions
• Strategic thinker who can also execute confidently at a tactical level
• Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills
• Clear communicator who can explain performance and strategy
simply and confidently
• Proactive, self-managed, and comfortable working in an agency
environment
• Results-driven with a strong sense of accountability for performance
