We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Assistant to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in accounting to grow their career in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the accounting team with daily financial transactions and reconciliations
  • Process accounts payable invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments
  • Monitor and reconcile inventory records, collaborating with procurement and operations teams
  • Assist with month-end close activities and preparation of financial reports
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation
  • Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies
  • Support audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1 to 2 years of accounting experience, specifically in accounts payable and inventory
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Proficient with accounting software
  • Ability to multitask and work independently in a deadline-driven environment
  • Experience in the automotive or construction industry is a plus, but not required
  • Can start immediately
