IT Support Associate

We are looking for a proactive and skilled IT Support Associate to ensure the security, stability, and efficiency of our entire IT infrastructure. This role is critical in maintaining smooth operations across hardware, software, networking, and various IT systems. If you are a problem-solver with strong technical expertise and the ability to manage diverse IT environments, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the security, stability, and efficiency of the entire IT infrastructure.
  • Manage and set up end-user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
  • Diagnose, replace, and upgrade defective or outdated hardware components as needed.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively address issues to ensure optimal uptime and data security.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot internal infrastructure including firewalls, routers, access points, switches, desktops, servers, LAN/WAN networks, and ISP connectivity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on servers, workstations, and electronic devices; escalate incidents when necessary. Must be proficient in using a multi-tester/multi-meter.
  • Configure and maintain PABX (Private Automatic Branch Exchange) telephone systems.
  • Configure and maintain RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) systems.
  • Configure and maintain CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television) systems.
  • Manage and maintain Virtual Private Servers (VPS).
  • Maintain all company domains.
  • Configure and manage web hosting services, including cPanel.
  • Set up and maintain corporate email accounts.
  • Configure and maintain Google Workspace (formerly G Suite).
  • Manage website backups and ensure disaster recovery readiness.
  • Configure and maintain the HireTrack event management system.
  • Configure and manage integrations via Zapier.
  • ·et up and maintain accounting systems using Xero.
  • Other related duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience in IT support, with a strong foundation in hardware troubleshooting and end-user assistance.
  • Proficient in maintaining and troubleshooting IT infrastructure, including desktops, servers, LAN/WAN networks, firewalls, routers, switches, and ISP connectivity.
  • Skilled in system administration tasks such as managing user accounts, permissions, and ensuring data security and uptime.
  • Experience with configuring and maintaining PABX, CCTV, RFID systems, and using tools like multimeters for hardware diagnostics.
  • Knowledgeable in managing web hosting environments (cPanel), corporate email systems, and domain administration.
  • Familiar with Google Workspace administration, Virtual Private Servers (VPS), and automated integration tools like Zapier.
  • Experienced in managing cloud-based software such as HireTrack (event management) and Xero (accounting system).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and ability to work in fast-paced, multi-functional IT environments.
