Job Overview:
As PR and KOL Specialist you will be responsible for developing and executing PR, media relations and influencer marketing strategies to enhance the company's credibility and brand awareness. This role will involve managing relationships with top tier media/press & key opinion leaders and coordinating communication efforts to ensure positive and consistent brand representation.
You will also be responsible for identifying, engaging, and building strong relationships with editors and key opinion leaders in the industry and implementing effective public relations strategies to enhance the company's identity.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with media professionals and key opinion leaders in the industry.
· Identify, research, and manage relationships with key influencers aligned with the company's objectives.
· Create compelling and shareable content for press releases, articles, blog posts, and social media that align with the brand's messaging guidelines.
· Collaborate and manage influencers to create authentic and engaging content that resonates with the target audience.
· Plan and execute events that integrate media and influencer participation, such as product launches, and influencer gatherings.
· Create PR boxes to establish organic KOL connections and collaborate with influencers for social media takeovers, collaborations, and sponsored content.
· Manage press relations during launches, oversee tasks including but not limited to hosting press conferences, writing and submitting press releases, etc.
· Act as a spokesperson during crises and work with the social media manager, internal stakeholders, external influencers and press to manage and mitigate negative publicity.
· Work closely with marketing team to maintain a consistent brand image across all communication channels, both traditional and influencer driven.
· Monitor and analyze media coverage and influencer interactions to assess brand perception.
· Develop and implement integrated PR and KOL strategies aligned with organizational goals.
· Identify opportunities for collaboration between traditional media and influencers for maximum impact.
· Oversee the production process , ensuring timely delivery and adherence to brand guidelines.
· Help with photoshoots, collaborate with the team with moodboards and peg for launches, events and campaigns.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, marketing, or a related field.
· Proven experience in public relations and influencer marketing.
· Extremely excellent written and verbal communication skills, in both business and consumer facing language.
· Confident and proactive. Strong interpersonal, networking, and relationship-building skills.
· Strong Fashion Press/Editor and KOL network within the Philippines market (Bonus: strong network amongst the SEA area)
· Ability to work effectively under pressure and in crisis situations.
· Experience with crisis management.
· Familiarity with social media platforms, influencer marketing trends, and digital communication.
· Creative thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a keen eye for identifying influential figures.
· Strong organizational and project management skills.
· Understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms.
· Analytical skills to measure the impact of KOL engagement strategies.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team and cross-functional environment.
