JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for supporting the Cost Engineer in monitoring and analyzing in terms of cost, materials, manpower and other resources that are needed for the execution of the project. Also, responsible for the monitoring and requesting of materials and estimating change orders issued on site.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

PRE-CONSTRUCTION PHASE

Responsible for the development of the committed cost with WBS and estimated of all materials needed for the project (with the Cost Engineer)

  • Coordinates with the QS and EDT Department for the scope of works and FCD prior to estimating of cost and materials.
  • Does estimating works together with other engineers (field or PMO Department)for the committed cost and reconcile with the QS Department.
  • Coordinates with the Purchasing Department for the updated price list that will be use for the project cost estimate.
  • Coordinates with the Procurement Department for the Subcon/Vendor accounts for possible awarding. Arrange work packing for proper awarding.
  • Coordinates with the Equipment and Assets Department for the available resources that can be use for the the project such as equipment, formworks and other materials for temporary facilities.
  • Coordinates with the Engineering Research and Admin Department for the status of the Permit Application.

CONSTRUCTION PHASE

Responsible for the monitoring of project cost, coordination to CCM and QS Department, checking of PR & PO and Cost Proposals for change order and additional works.

  • Coordinates weekly with the CCM Department (in-charge) for the cost monitoring and JO tracking.
  • Checking, monitoring and approval of PR for materials and awarding of Subcon
  • Checking and approval of Subcon billing.
  • Preparation of monthly billing for PMT/client and monitoring of cashflow. Coordinates with QS Department for the billing status.
  • Checking and control of material requests, issuances and deliveries through the Purchasing Department and Warehouseman.
  • Provides estimates, costing and monitoring of any change/ variation orders issued in site.

POST-CONTRUCTION PHASE

Responsible for the Project Closeout report and Closeout of all project accounts including PO of Subcon and other vendors.

  • Coordinates with the CCM and Procurement/Purchasing Department for the closeout of the Subcon/Vendors PO.
  • In-charge of the Project Closeout Documents needed to submit to the client/PMT.
  • Collaborates and provides input (commercial) with the pic with regards to the preparation of project review (Good Practices and Bad Practices)
  • Reconciles with the CCM Department for the actual cost of the project to include in the project closeout report.
  • Coordinates with the Equipment and Assets Department for closeout of excess materials and other company assets.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Education

  2. Civil Engineering graduate

  3. Licensed Engineer

  4. Experience

  5. At least 3-5 years experience with the position

  6. Technical Competencies ("Know-how")

  7. Know how to operate AutoCAD software

  8. Excel, PowerPoint and Document
  9. Background in surveying or basic lay-out
  10. Know how to do estimate especially in CSA works

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php22, Php25,000.00 per month
