Since then, we have expanded into developing tools such as a rapid-return-to-work process, computer vision for safety in the workplace, and generative AI for claims management. The Role
In this role, you will be a key player on our team, collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders to design, build, and maintain custom applications that are changing the face of Workers Comp Insurance as we know it today. The primary goal of this position is to enhance the Salesforce platform's functionality and user experience by leveraging your technical expertise and understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem, all while working closely with others to achieve shared objectives.

An ideal candidate in this role will collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and end-users to gather and analyze requirements for new applications or enhancements to existing ones. Then use this information to design and develop solutions that align with Kinetic's goals and expectations.

You will need to utilize programming languages like Apex and Lightning Components, however a majority of what we are looking to accomplish within our org would be considered a "click first, code second" approach. Web development technologies experience, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are nice to have, but a strong collaborative spirit with appropriate soft skills is a must. We are also a Google shop. You'll also work with Salesforce APIs to enable seamless data exchange between Salesforce and external platforms within a team environment, so at least beginner-level knowledge there would be preferable.

A major part of being successful within this role will involve ensuring the quality, performance, and long-term scalability of your solutions. This involves creating and executing test plans, debugging, and resolving any issues that may arise. They also provide ongoing support and maintenance for the applications they develop, addressing any problems or enhancements needed over time.

Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders across Kinetic who use SFDC to deliver meaningful outcomes
• Design optimal workflows that improve user experience through standard Salesforce functionality wherever possible (prioritizing proficiency, deliverables, and scalability)
• Problem solving: debugging and troubleshooting to resolve issues and optimize performance / fix production support issues
• Participate in the planning and analysis of business requirements, providing technical insights and working with the team to find the best solutions
• Remain current with Salesforce technologies and best practices. Share knowledge and insights freely with the rest of the org
• Play an active role in securing and standardizing our business data

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of SFDC development experience. We value passion and a spirit over a specific number of years
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field but experience and passion trump all. Previous Agile team membership would help set you apart
• Strong empathy and emotional intelligence for colleagues and end users who may not have a ton of Salesforce experience. Should be a team player for the betterment of the company
• Advanced knowledge of Salesforce permissions, roles, reports, dashboards, etc
• Proficiency in Salesforce development technologies, including Flow (required), Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components (nice to have)
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, other web development technologies, and Google Suite is a plus
• Ability to consultatively gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into effective technical solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to deliberate effectively with business analysts, project managers, and end-users
• Experience in creating and executing test plans to ensure high quality
• Experience building dev, test, stage, deploy processes with SFDC
• Experience integrating third-party applications into SDFC, including market apps such as Gong, HubSpot, Novidea, and Matrix Velocity. At least entry-level API experience is desired
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Salesforce Basic & Advanced Admin Certifications required. Product Developer 1, 2, or Architectural path certs will help you stand out (while keeping in mind that this is still a client-facing role occasionally)
• A pride in personal project management is also highly desirable, with the ability to manage and meet multiple deadlines
• Experience with project management tool such as Jira and or Asana
• Must be amenable to reporting onsite in Makati three days per week
