Founded on January 27, 1982, Asia Brewery, Inc. (ABI) was established by visionary Lucio Tan with the goal of providing high-quality beverages at affordable prices to Filipino consumers. The ABI Cabuyao plant, located 45 kilometers southeast of Manila, is recognized as one of the largest and most advanced manufacturing facilities in Southeast Asia. With an annual beer production capacity of 4 million hectoliters, the complex also features state-of-the-art glassmaking, plastic crate manufacturing, and bottle water production facilities, among others. In addition to serving its own production needs, ABI's bottling and packaging plants support some of the Philippines' largest food and beverage companies.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Calabarzon, Philippines. The Senior Communication Specialist will be responsible for crafting and managing internal and external communications, including writing and distributing press releases, creating strategic communication plans, and ensuring clear and effective messaging is maintained across the organization. Day-to-day tasks involve developing content for internal communications, managing media relations, and collaborating with teams to ensure alignment with company objectives.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Communication, Writing, and Strategic Communications
  • Experience in developing and distributing Press Releases to effectively communicate key messages
  • Expertise in Internal Communications to foster clarity and engagement across teams
  • Proven ability to manage media relations and external stakeholder communications
  • Strong analytical skills to measure the effectiveness of communication strategies
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related fields preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in corporate communication or a similar role
