Retail Sales Associate

Job Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Retail Sales Associate to support the business by generating and converting leads, maximizing sales opportunities, and enhancing customer retention and satisfaction for the purpose of sales development. This role is responsible for proactively engaging with potential customers, responding to inquiries, and ensuring seamless order fulfillment across multiple platforms, including our website, social media, and hotlines.

The ideal candidate is not only passionate about customer service and sales but also understands how to leverage interactions to increase revenue and customer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Sales Conversion

  • Identify, qualify, and convert leads from website inquiries, social media engagement, and phone hotlines.
  • Drive sales growth by providing personalized recommendations and strategic upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Maintain a strong follow-up strategy to nurture leads and increase conversion rates.
  • Keep detailed records in the CRM system, tracking interactions, follow-ups, and purchasing patterns to maximize future sales.

Customer Engagement & Business Expansion

  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to increase repeat purchases and brand loyalty.
  • Offer expert guidance on wine selection, pairings, promotions, and exclusive offers to enhance the customer experience.
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback to identify trends and opportunities for new sales strategies.

Order Management & Operational Efficiency

  • Ensure a smooth sales process by coordinating with logistics and operations teams for accurate and timely order fulfillment.
  • Keep customers informed about shipping, delivery timelines, and order status to improve satisfaction and trust.
  • Quickly address and resolve any issues related to order fulfillment, returns, or product concerns to maintain a positive brand reputation.

Revenue Growth & Performance Metrics

  • Work towards sales targets and revenue goals, ensuring consistent business growth.
  • Analyze customer purchase behavior and market trends to suggest new promotions or business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns that attract high-intent buyers.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience in sales, e-commerce, or business development (wine industry experience is a plus).
  • Strong sales-driven mindset with excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Ability to identify revenue-generating opportunities and convert them into tangible business growth.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with a customer-first approach.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, e-commerce platforms, and social media engagement strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
